그리 멀지않은 홍대에서 주택가라 조용함. 외국인 스태프와 이용객 그리고 시설 등 다양한 모든 면에서 한국인들을 위한 민박장사가 아니라 진짜 유럽여행에서 느꼇던 호스텔의 느낌이 강했음. 화장실이 작은 것 뿐 다른 것은 매우 만족!

호스텔 위치가 찾기 어려웠는데 외국인 스탭분이 직접 마중나오셔서 도와주셨어요^^ ||그리고 방도 저 배려해주셔서 업그레이드된 방에서 편하게 쉴수 있었습니다||다음엔 더 오래 지내고 외국인들과도 친해지고 싶어요!

I volunteered in this hostel in exchange for accommodation for 5 months and it was a great experience! The staff room is small but comfortable. And the hostel has a really homey atmosphere. All the people were really nice and i met a lot of new friends here! The motto of the hostel is that “everyone owns this place” and that’s what it feels like. It feels like a community. DJ was always really nice and talked to everyone. When it came to the weekly schedule he tried his best to meet all the expectations! So I really recommend volunteering here!

We stayed here for 6 nights and honestly it wasn’t great, but not terrible.
We had a private room me and my partner.

Firstly, they only give you a single duvet for the two of you. The curtains don’t cover the windows properly so it gets very bright early on.
The staff were relatively friendly although whoever checked us in wasn’t.
The room was clean but they provide no amenities at all, no shampoo or body wash and you have to squeegee the floor after taking a shower which is pretty ridiculous. I get it is a hostel but come on
You also don’t get provided a room key and have to put a deposit down if you want one which is crazy.

Look, you will survive if you stay here but I recommend going somewhere else. I have stayed at a lot of hostels / guesthouses through Japan and S Korea and this was the worst in terms of the room and just general effort to provide a nice experience.

Location is fine, area isn’t amazing. Price is fine.

Stayed here for five nights with my boyfriend in a 8 bed dorm - we read the hostel description and read all the reviews before booking/coming and we felt prepared and we knew what to expect.

Overall, I think the hostel is exactly what they advertise as - chill, quiet hostel with nothing fancy. The location was great - less than 10 minute walk from the subway station, money exchange, and from the start of Hongdae street (where all the restaurants are and leading to the all the bars/clubs). The hostel is in a quiet suburb street so it feels safe but they also tape the door code right on the door which feels… not safe?

Hostel was clean, bed/bed sheets were clean, bathrooms were clean. Beds were really rickety - I had a top bunk and every time I moved the bed frame just shook and made a bunch of noises. Room was kind of hot, AC didn’t go below 23 so it felt a bit stuffy in the room but overall manageable.

I would say my only negative comment has more to do with the volunteers/staff - specially the Spanish speaking girls. One of the nights (late into the night) our whole room was sleeping and the girls sat in the common area talking and laughing at full volume for two hours!!! I think it’s one thing when it’s hostel guests (but there’s also quiet sides up) but then it’s another thing when it’s volunteers/staff who represent the hostel. Other than that experience, we had great exchanges with them and the other staff.

I would genuinely stay here again. We got exactly what we paid for and we loved the location.
